Insurance Exclusively

FOR VETERINARIANS

Disability Income

Short term disability generally insures your income and allows for income payments to the insured to begin after about a two-week waiting period after a qualifying disability claim and continue until the benefits are maxed out or the insured recovers.

Long term disability insures your income in the event a covered accident or illness and generally allows for income payments to the insured to begin after a set waiting period, 30 days to 180 days, and will continue for years or up to age 65, in some cases.

Professional Overhead Expense

A Business Overhead Disability policy prevents your business from going under while you are unable to work and run the business if you become disabled. These types of policies will typically pay for things like employee salaries, rent and utilities, among other expenses.

Term Life Insurance, 10 & 20 Year Term

This type of life insurance does not build any cash value. However, it will pay a set amount to the named beneficiary upon the death of insured within the stated term.  Includes Spouse/domestic partner and dependent coverage, with a living benefit and extra Accidental Death and Dismemberment option.

Family Group Life

Life insurance (up to $2,000,000) that includes Spouse/domestic partner and dependent coverage, with a living benefit and extra Accidental Death and Dismemberment option.

Accidental Death & Dismemberment

Get up to an additional $200,000 of coverage if death is from a dismembering injury or other claim resulting from a covered accident.

Member Basic Protection

Affordable bundled insurance package includes Long Term Disability, Group Life Insurance, Accidental Death and Dismemberment, and additional coverage for Rabies Prophylaxis Benefit.

Student Basic Protection

Affordable bundled insurance package designed for students in Veterinary School, and includes Disability, Term Life Insurance, and additional coverage for Rabies Prophylaxis Benefit.

Hospital Indemnity Protection

Unlike a traditional major medical plan that reimburses you or pays directly to a provider for approved hospital stays and medical care, a Hospital Indemnity Plan pays a lump-sum payment directly to the insured. The cash payment helps with out-of-pocket expenses and covers you when you are off work due to a hospital stay. The coverage is usually a set amount per day, per week, per month, or per visit depending on the benefit level selected.

Critical Illness

This special type of coverage can reduce the personal financial impact of the cost of fighting critical illnesses, such as cancer, heart attack, rental failure, and even major organ  transplant, helping you to keep up with everyday bills through that process. Some key features include cash benefits paid directly to the insured and plans to fit different levels of coverage/budgets.

Dental Plans

Regular dental exams helps you stay healthy and more productive in your business.  Dental Plans offer a variety of diagnostic, preventative care and corrective services including cleanings, exams, x-rays, fillings, root canals, orthodontia for children, and emergency care while traveling.

Vision Plans

Similar to dental policies, vision plans are inexpensive and save money on eye and vision related healthcare services. This includes routine exams, eyeglass frames and lenses, contacts, and even discounts on procedures like LASIK. Also, monitoring your eye health with regular exams helps to detect more serious underlying health problems.
